All Arizona Public School Teachers working with English learner delivering required minutes of the SEI models are required to have an SEI Endorsement.

Structured English Immersion
In Arizona, SEI is required of all schools in the state. All textbooks, materials, and assessments used in an SEI classroom must be aligned to the Arizona K-12 English Language Learner Proficiency Standards.
Closing the proficiency gap is contingent on teachers having the skills and knowledge necessary to instruct EL students. In this SEI training course you will learn how to articulate a clear vision for student success that includes high expectations for EL student achievement and social-emotional development.
In this training course you will explore interactive, research-proven strategie that supports success including: integrated and targeted ELD SEI classroom set-up/management, aligned standard lesson planning, integrated and targeted and language instruction, assessments, support and monitoring for English Learners.

45 hours SEI training program for the busy educators.
45 Hour SEI Endorsement Course Approved by the Arizona Department of Education’s (OELAS)
ADE approved SEI online course that can be completed at your own pace.
