Special Education Compliance Monitor
ECAAS safeguards compliance with state and federal guidelines pertaining to special education by assisting with the coordination and monitoring of evaluation timelines, case conference committee meetings, implementation of IEPs, and supplementary/related services. On-Site Or Virtual Consulting And Staff Development
The ECAAS team provides educators with relevant, timely knowledge and training to support areas such as, Special Education, Referral Process, Classroom Management, and SEI. Our consultants’ are skilled at developing customized professional development programs that increases teachers, schools and administrators' knowledge and skill set.
Interrupting the School to Prison Pipeline (STPP)
The disciplinary and pedagogical practices that create an atmosphere for the United States school-to-prison relationship to occur disproportionately affect disabled, Latino, and Black students which are later reflected in the rates of incarceration. Recent research confirms the connections between school failure and subsequent link with the criminal justice system for minorities. Once a child drops out, they are eight times more likely to be incarcerated than youth who graduate from high school. We train teachers and staff in the method of Positive psychological methods to decrease classroom behavioral problems and support students to be more academically motivated, consequently making it less likely to be arrested.
Special Education and Referral Process Training
We focus on helping teachers develop skills, proficiency and a positive attitude to work with learners develop academic skills, self-help skills and self-confidence. This training course describes the requirements and “must knows” of special education programing. We train teachers to skillfully and successfully navigate through the processes of correctly referring students to special education through a systematic approach. We understand that inappropriate referrals to special education are costly and stigmatizing when placing students in special education programs and we provide training to help educators develop effective referral process skills.
Indian Education Program Training
Title VI and Johnson O’Malley are federally funded programs designed to meet the unique needs of American Indian Students in our public school system. Our goals are support and train schools and communities to promote academic achievement, improve attendance, and graduation rates, and promote understanding of the American Indian culture.
District Specific Training
Districts require trainings and Professional Development throughout the year to employees to work effectively within schools. We create trainings specific to your school needs. These trainings might include : Bullying prevention, School safety,Training in reading instruction, Classroom management, teaching students with disabilities.
Professional EL Teacher Training
Our goal is to empower teachers with best practices to building strong EL programs. Teachers can truly support English Language Learners (ELL) no matter what his/her status is in acquiring the English Language. We train teaches to implement strategies that transforms good programs into great programs.
Classroom Management Training
A disorganized classroom without routines and expectations makes it difficult for teacher's to do their job. We provide effective classroom management strategies and critical skills for long term substitutes, new teachers or a seasoned teacher struggling to control their classroom.
Learner To Learners
Educational Consulting And Advisory Services is an Arizona Certified Approved SEI Course Provider. Our 45 Hour SEI Endorsement Completion course has been approved by the Arizona Department of Education’s Office of English Language Acquisition Services (OELAS). We offer On-line and On-Site SEI Training.
Sensitivity & Social Emotional Learning Skills Training
All students need social-emotional and character skills to succeed in school, work and life. As students reintegrate back into schools it is an important role for schools to start with social emotional programing and talk about coping skills students can use in school and at home.
